This piece encapsulates Edinburgh Festival Flyers and magazine pieces from 2025 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Pieces are taken and collaged onto board making the backbone for the scene which is then slowly built up using a layering technique with mixed media, acrylics, ink, pastels, and further pieces of recycled flyers which create this iconic Edinburgh scene on the High Street beside John Knox’s House. The main feature though is the actual phone box which sits proud created from an up cycled Bollinger champagne box, adding a bit of further fun and glamour to the piece. The street scene is brought to life in my signature style by adding the characters in the paper doll style, cut from fashion magazines. This piece is framed in a black professional wooden frame and strung and ready to hang.
